Suffolk in Prayer is a movement of Christians committed to praying for God's blessing on this beautiful county and its people.  It started during the pandemic when Christians all across the county joined together to pray online for Thy Kingdom Come.

Find out what's coming up below...

We'd love you to join us again for The Big Suffolk Prayer Walk from the 10th-12th May 2024.

There will be ideas for what you can pray for, where you can pray and how you can get involved over on our facebook group. You can find that HERE

We are running an Online prayer room where you can book hourly prayer time slots to pray either at home or with others within your community.  The online prayer room runs from 06:00 hours on 10th of May to midnight on 12th of May 2024.  To book a prayer slot click HERE. You will be asked for your name and email address when you sign up to a prayer time and you will receive an automatic email reminder confirming your time of prayer 24 hours before and 1 hour before your chosen time of prayer. Your name will be visible on the online prayer room bookings to indicate who is praying when and at what time. Once signed up to the online prayer room, you are committing to pray on the day and time you have chosen.  Your personal data will be kept secure in line with the 24/7 General Data Protection Regulations.

You can pray for a number of things during your time of prayer, including the Big Suffolk Prayer weekend, the Thy Kingdom Come initiative, as well as more local prayer needs.

We pray your time of prayer over the weekend will be encouraging.  Please share any insights/reflections with us at

We spent time between 16th-18th February praying for farmers.

It was a fantastic weekend, with lots of points shared to guide times of reflection and prayer.

We'd love you to continue praying for farmers.

Here are a few points to get you started:

  • Good weather for crops
  • Mental health of farmers and their families
  • Finding farm workers and training up new farmers to take over
  • Rural and isolated areas with little contact to community
  • Rest and peace of mind
  • Those struggling with suicidal thoughts
  • Partners of farmers who are homeschooling,  book-keepers, emotional support and so much more.
