Our vision is to enable more people to know the love of Jesus and become active disciples through Connect
Connect is a weekly fresh expression of church, - same time, same place, with the same team- to encourage people of all ages to connect in whatever way they want to. It is a fluid session with a range of activities, culminating in a short act of worship. It is an opportunity for people of all ages to build friendship, create community and explore church.
People can just pop in for a hot drink, cakes and a chat with friends. There are also activities inside and outside, and we finish with short, informal worship. People can 'opt in' to any of the activities and the worship.
Each week there is CONNECT@Church with
Café Connect- a café style area serving hot drinks, cakes and biscuits. This is a safe space to socialise or read the Sunday papers, and there is a play area for children.
Connect Crafts- Craft activities for all ages.
Connect Outdoors- Supporting and maintaining the churchyard to be eco friendly
Connexions- Table Talk, prayer stations and prayer requests. Someone is always on hand if you want to chat or share a concern.
Connected- a short act of worship with drama/storytelling, music and a thought for the day
One of the sessions each month is CONNECT Celebration- a community event to celebrate, gather and share in seasonal events like Pancake Day, Mothering Sunday, Easter, Harvest and Christmas.
